CSU is a designated mental health facility (DMHF) and is intended to serve residents of Bibb, Pickens, and Tuscaloosa Counties who are 18 years of age or older, who are experiencing an acute exacerbation of mental illness or other mental health crisis, and who are in need of assessment and screening, brief intensive residential services, and/or structures clinical program.
